Marcus looked at Natalie as she slept. He could not believe that he waited this long to pop the big question. He looked out the window of the airplane as they flew over Colorado. He planned the whole evening out when he will ask to marry him. He has a special Italian dinner to be brought up to their cabin. They will make her favorite dessert which he would place the diamond ring on top. He patted his coat pocket to make sure the ring was still there. He brushed her hair from her closed eyes.

He smiled as he began to remember the first time they met. He stopped at his local barber to get his beard trimmed and his hair cut before his big important meeting. Ron, his usual barber had a house full of people.

“Marcus, I am sorry but I am booked right now. If you want I can get my new barber to trim you up.” said Ron as he continued to cut hair

“Fine, I can not be late for this meeting.”

“Sit in that chair.” said Ron pointing to the chair across from him, “Nat, I need you.” he yelled to the back

“I am coming.” she said walking through the door

Marcus looked at her in awe. He saw a smile on Ron’s face.

“She is the best, trust me.” smiled Ron

Natalie stood beside him smiling, “What can I do for you today?”

Marcus looked at her with wide eyes, “That is a loaded question.” he thought.

He smiled, “I need a haircut very low almost bald and trim my beard.”

She smiled, “Sure thing. I will have you looking like a model in no time.” she said wrapping a cape around him. “What is your name?”

  “Marcus.”

“Hi Marcus, I am Natalie but everyone calls me Nat.” she smiled as she let the chair down

“Nice to meet you Nat.” he smiled

Natalie went to work on his head. She stood on the right side of him. He could smell her perfume. He tried not to look at her breasts but they were right there. Marcus adjusted himself as he began to think of his presentation. She was on the left side of him now. He closed his eyes to concentrate on his presentation but her perfume demanded his attention. He shifted in the seat a little. She stood behind him. He took a slow breath trying to keep her body out of his head. Which did him no good, he always had a good memory and her body danced before his closed eyes. Her hair was in a pony tail. Her dark brown skin showed a youthful glow and she had a mole which made her more attractive. She had a medium build. Her brown eyes spoke words of their own. Her diamond nose ring really made her face stand out.

Marcus felt her hands touching his beard. They were so soft and smooth. Marcus opened his eyes. There she was in front of him. She looked into his eyes smiling. He noticed it was not like before it was a blushing smile. He continued to be in awe at her beauty when she stopped and looked at him.

“Marcus” she said softly that only he could hear, “I think you should go and take care of that.” she said looking down

Marcus looked down at his lap. He began to feel like the whole room was staring at him. She winked at him and turned the chair so no one could see his surprise. She motioned for him to go to the restroom. He smiled as he remembered how embarrassed he was. When he came back she was leaning on the counter looking at him.

“That presentation must be really important.” she said smiling

Marcus blushed as he sat down.

“Marcus, you will do fine. You will get the client.” said Ron as he cleaned up his area

Marcus and Natalie looked at each other and laughed.

Marcus smiled as he touched her cheek. She moved and looked at him smiling.

  “Are we there?” she asked

  “We are about to land.”

The pilot came on telling them to fasten their seatbelts. They landed by the terminal as the snow began to fall. This was Natalie first time seeing snow. She had seen it on TV shows but never in real life. When she got off the plane she was in awe of it. They hurried through the terminal to grab their bags. Marcus waved down a cab and gave them the address of the resort. Natalie looked out the window with her mouth gap open. The snow was piled up on the side of the road as high as the cars. Natalie watched the snow as it continued to fall on the cars. Marcus watched her and smiled. As they pulled into the resort, Natalie beamed with joy. They checked into the resort. Natalie held his hand smiling as he opened the door.

“Marcus this is beautiful.” she said looking out the window as the sun slowly disappeared

“I thought you might like it.” he said as he put the luggage in the cabin, “I will start a fire while you check out the rest of the cabin.”

Natalie checked the rooms. They had one bedroom and one bath; she looked out the sliding glass door and saw a Jacuzzi. She smiled. She hoped that they get to use it. She went back into the living room. The fire he started was at its full strength. Natalie stood before it. Marcus came up behind her and held her.

“Do you want to unpack or do you want to eat?”

Natalie turned around and kissed him. She went under his sweater as she started touching his chest. He smiled his pearly white teeth at her as she touched his ears.

“You know how that affects me.” he smiled as she continued kissing his neck

“I just can’t get enough of my man with his ears.” she smiled as she took off his sweater.

Marcus and Natalie discarded their clothes on the sofa as they made love in front of the fire.

Natalie woke up in a bed facing the white snow that was building up on the windows. She was extremely happy. She looked around and found out she was by herself.

She showered and changed into her outfit she bought for this occasion. She wanted to check out the resort. She put on her boots and her heavy jacket as she began to walk out the door.

She felt the sun trying to break through and show its radiance but the cold wind seemed to blow the heat away. She walked down the side walk, kicking at a pile of snow as it flew in the air. She took off her gloves as she touched the snow. She took a handful of snow and held it in her hand as she walked down the sidewalk. When she got to the office door, she discarded the snow as she walked in. She walked to the cafeteria to see if he was there. She returned to the front lobby. She stood in the entryway looking for Marcus. She turned as a couple ran into her knocking her down.

“Are you all right, honey?” asked the woman

“I am fine.” said Natalie as she watched the man walk away

Natalie looked at the woman. She was a little shorter than she was. She had long black hair with highlights, which looked good under her black winter hat. She was a small frame woman with narrow eyes. She smiled but Natalie could tell that she did not mean it.

“Be careful next time, sweetie.” she said as she walked towards the man

She stood next to the tall man who was very light skin and had shoulder length dreads. His body was covered in a snow suit. His eyes were behind sunglasses. He took his glasses off. She saw his eyes were light brown and haunting. He turned from her and looked at the activity board.

“Sweetie?” said Natalie as she thought about what happened

Natalie stood behind the couple and tapped them on the shoulder, “Excuse, do you have something you want to say to me, sweetie?” said Natalie sternly as she looked at both of them, “As I see it, both of you ran into me and both of you owe me an apology.”

The man had a stern look on his face. He rolled his eyes. The woman smiled that smile as she looked at her.

“Sweetie, you are fine, now go along and play in the snow like all the others.”

Natalie closed her eyes and counted to three before she spoke, “You asshole. Both of you are assholes. You need to learn some manners.”

“And who is going to teach me, you.” said the woman standing closer to Natalie

Natalie did not back down but got in her face, “Bitch, I will snatch all that fake hair out of your head.”

The manager came up from behind Natalie, “Excuse me ladies, is there a problem?”

“I say it is, this place has started to let the riff raff in.” said the woman

“I will show your ass riff raff.” said Natalie as she tried to grab the woman

The manager held Natalie as the woman smiled at her. She walked up to Natalie and was about to slap her when a deep voice spoke. Natalie looked and felt her body vibrate as he spoke.

“Enough Mercedes.” said the man as he grabbed her hand looking at the manager, “There is no problem. We ran into this young woman and in our haste, we did not apologize.”

The man pulled the woman into his side as he stood between the women. The manager let Natalie go. Natalie pushed her jacket down.

“We are sorry for any inconvenience.” said the man as he walked with the woman down a hall.

Natalie turned and walked out the door. Her mood was of rage and something else she could not explain. When she got back to the cabin, she sat on the sofa. Marcus had not returned and she was tensed. Natalie needed to hit something. She saw her bag on the floor and she punched it. She felt a little better but not a whole lot. She stood at the sliding glass door looking at the scene before her. She counted to ten and felt the anger leave her body but it left that other feeling behind. Now she was just numb. She realized she did not eat anything. She hoped that was the cause of her strange feeling. She called room service and waited for the food to come.

Natalie ate her breakfast as she read the newspaper. She was concern when she read that the conditions had changed. It warned that everyone should stay indoors or be careful when out on the slopes. Natalie looked out at the snow that was falling and she wanted to be home in Florida. She was in deep thought when the door opened. Marcus came in with packages. She looked at him as he put them down. He smiled at her.

“Where the hell have you been?” she asked angrily as she put down the paper

“Whoa, what is your problem?” he said shockingly

“Where were you?” as she stood before him

His demeanor changed to one of irritation, “I had to do some shopping for your ass.”

She looked at his face then she closed her eyes, “I am sorry. I had a fight with a guest. I did not get a chance to kick her ass. I did not mean to take it out on you.” she said looking sorrowful, “Do you forgive me?” she asked

He looked at her, “Why didn’t you kick her ass?”

“Her man took her away. I would have taken her weave out for free.” she smiled

  He smiled.

  “Am I forgiving?”

He motioned her to come here. She stood before him. He took off his jacket.

“I am truly hurt.” he pouted

Natalie wrapped her arms around his neck and kissed him, “How about I kiss it and make it feel better?”

Marcus smiled, “I hurt all over.” as he hugged her

“I guess I better get started.” she smiled as she kissed him

Marcus picked her up and took her to the bedroom. He put her down by the bed. They took off each others clothes. She pushed him on the bed as she hovered over him kissing his lips. She moved along his neck down his chest. She continued to his stomach, lingering over his tattoo of the sun. She straddled him as she pulled him up to meet her. She gave him access to her breasts as he entered her. She moved slowly back and forth as his mouth played with her nipples. He laid her on the bed. His thrust met with her thrust. Marcus began to kiss her as his thrust became more intense. Natalie arched her back as the force of his thrust took her breath away. Marcus stopped and touched her breasts. She looked at him wonder what he was doing. Marcus pulled out of her and kissed her lips.

“Marcus, what the hell is wrong?” she asked sitting up feeling undone

“Nothing is wrong.” he smiled walking to the living room

“Wait a damn minute. I know I was not finished. I am damn sure you were not finish. Why in the hell did you stop?” she said standing in front of him

Marcus touched her face, “I need to show you something important.”

“What the hell is so important that you could not finish?”

Marcus went to his jacket and came back. Natalie wrapped a sheet around her and looked at him. Marcus looked at her and smiled.

“I wanted to give this to you tonight but I can not wait.” he said as he touched her face

He took the ring out the box and drop to his knees before her.

“Natalie, It has been a year and a half since we met and during that time I have grown to love you and cherish you. I want to share my life with you. Will you marry me?”

Natalie sat on the bed and was speechless. This is the second time in an hour that he had made her look foolish. She looked at the ring and started to shake. He put the ring on her finger and kissed it. He unwrap the sheet and kissed her. She was still shaking when he entered her. She felt a new arousal. He did not disappoint her. He took her to a new height. She screamed out yes as her ocean overflowed. Marcus smiled and lay on her. She smiled at him.

“What did you say, Natalie?” he said looking into her eyes

“I thought you heard me scream it just a minute ago.”

“I just want to hear it again.” he smiled

She touched his lips, “Let’s see if you can do it again.”

They indulge in making the word Yes come out as an exclamation with their bodies and voice. They continued until night fall.

Morning came as he surprised her with skiing lessons. Marcus and Natalie went to the ski shop for their ski lessons with the instructor. They waited by the beginner’s area. Natalie was kissing Marcus when she heard a deep voice. She stopped and slowly looked at him.

“Good morning, I am Julian De Leon but you can call me Leon.”

“Hi Leon. My name is Marcus and this is my fiancée, Natalie.”

“We have met. Nice to see you again, I am sorry about my fiancée.”

Natalie nodded her head. She did not want to learn how to ski anymore. She wanted to go back to their cabin. Leon went over the most important part of skiing. As he was showing Marcus what he was doing wrong. Natalie got a better look at him. Leon was a good 6’3 with slanted light brown eyes. He had a trimmed beard and mustache. He was medium build and he had brown dreads that accented his light skin. Natalie began to feel ashamed for looking at Leon. She looked away as she tried to control her thoughts.

  “Natalie, your turn.” said Marcus

“I do not feel well. I am going back to the cabin. You have fun.” she said as she walked back to the shop

Marcus watched her leave then turned to Leon who was eyeing him. Marcus smiled taking off his skis.

“I am sorry but we will have to reschedule.” he said as he went to the shop

Leon watched him walk in the opposite direction as he walked back into the shop. Marcus smiled as he walked to the bar where all the single people hung out. He met a few women who gave him great pleasure since this morning. He was surprised how fast he hooked up with them. He walked to the door. He looked back to the cabin. Natalie will be crushed if she found out. A tall woman with a tight outfit came into his view. He smiled as he forgot all about Natalie.

Natalie went back to the cabin. She lay on the bed. She looked at the ring. She smiled thinking of the love making they did that day and night. They made love in every area of the cabin. She fell asleep thinking of that day. Her dreams were of Marcus proposing to
her, she kissed him. She touched his bald head and he had hair. She looked at his hair and they were dreads. She pulled up his face and it was not Marcus but Leon. His light brown eyes turned into bedroom eyes that melted her heart. She felt him touching her leg. She jumped up looking to see Marcus was touching her leg.

“When did you get in?” she said lying back on the bed closing her eyes

“Five minutes ago. Guess what?” he said as he lay next to her

  “What?”

“I did so good today that I have moved to a new instructor.”

“I am sorry I could not be with you today but I will be with you tomorrow.” she said

  “Yes and no.”

Natalie looked at him, “What do you mean yes and no?”

“We will take lesson tomorrow but you will be with Leon and I will be with Paul.” he said as he kissed her

“Why I can’t be with you?” she said sitting up

“Leon said the beginners have to take his class before they can move on. He teaches the basics before you get to learn from the pros. I passed his expectation that is why I have a new teacher. Guess what else; he is from Tampa as well.”

Natalie looked at him feeling sick again. “This is not so bad. He is a handsome man and I am to marry the best of them all.” she thought to herself

Natalie smiled at Marcus, “Fine, how many will be in the class tomorrow?” she said touching his cheek

  “You.”

“I will be the only student?” she asked looking at him in surprise

“Yes. He had an opening at eleven. My appointment is not until one.”

“Marcus, I am not going to be a happy camper. Can you come and watch me then we could compare notes in the comfort of our cabin?”

“That sounds very tempting but I will be off finding my fiancée something nice for the gala, tomorrow night.”

“We can do that together.” said Natalie as she kissed his neck

“You can do this without me. We will have lunch at three for a lunch by the Jacuzzi.” he said as he touched her hair

“Fine but there better be champagne by the Jacuzzi.” she said looking at him
