“Hey, Marcus.” she looked at him with no clothes on, “I think you went a little far on the bookmark. We did not get that far.”
“I haven’t had time with my fiancée and I do not want anything standing in my way.” he said as he got on top of her.
His hand went up her back as his other hand went down her butt. She let him have his way with her. He turned her over and tore opened her shirt and unhooked her bra from the front. Natalie licked her lips as his hands went into her pants. She began to moan as his mouth claimed her breast. Marcus stood up and helped her up. He took off her clothes and had her against the wall. He had her hands above her head as he entered her. Her legs wrapped around his waist as they made love against the wall. He seemed to thrust with his knees. Natalie’s body welcomed him. He put her hands down and put her legs on the floor and turned her around. He had her legs spread as he entered her. He whispered, “Trust me hold on the wall”
He took her legs and wrapped them on his waist. Natalie felt awkward but she went along with it. He moved her to the floor holding her legs in the air. When they exploded, Marcus just lay across her stomach and went to sleep.
Natalie left the salon for her appointment to the doctor. She sat on the table.
“Natalie, how have you been?” asked Dr. Jones
“I am fine but my eyes are bothering me and I feel week or sometimes my body shake for no reason.”
“Are you under stress?” he asked
“I am getting married in two months.”
“Congratulations. Now let’s check you out.” he said
The exam went for a long time. He gave her papers for blood work and to do a short MRI.
“What is it?” she asked looking at the referral for testing
“I want to be sure before I tell you. It might be just that you are overworked. Just go home and rest. As soon as the test come in I will let you know the results. See if you can get that done this week.”
“Okay doctor.” she said as she left the office
She was able to get the tested that day. Now here is the part she did not like waiting. She went back to the salon and helped to close the salon. She went home to Teri telling her about her day at school. Olivia looked at her sister and saw she was not truly happy. She just did not bring up his name or how Natalie feels about him.
It took them two weeks to come back with the test results. Natalie took off work to run some errands. Marcus was working late tonight and she had to make sure everything was ready for the wedding. She looked at the posters in the doctor’s office trying to keep things straight. The door opened as Dr. Jones walked in.
“How are you feeling, today?” he asked as he motions her to sit
“I am stressed but everything is coming together.”
“Natalie, we got the result and it is not exact but we will have to do more test to be sure.”
Natalie looked at him as she began to get scared, “What is it?”
“Do you know what MS is?” he asked
“No.”
“MS is a disease that affects the spinal cord and brain. Some people have lost muscle control, visions, and their balance or have strong sensation or numbness in their body.” he said showing her a model of the spinal cord and brain “Somewhere in this region your immune system damaged this area. There are no known tests to figure out precisely which one you have.”
“You are telling me my immune system is affecting me like this. Will I die?”
“That is unknown. With medication available to slow how long the attacks last and some even slow the progression of it.”
“You said I have to take an intensive MRI. What is the MRI going to show?” she asked trying to wrap her head around it
“The one you took only gave me a small look at that area. This one will give us a clearer picture of the spinal cord and brain. To give us a better understanding which type of MS you have.”
“Type?” she said looking at the model
“Yes there are four types: relapsing Remitting MS- Relapsing-remitting MS: characterized by unpredictable acute attacks, called "exacerbations," with worsening of symptoms followed by full, partial, or no recovery of some function. These attacks appear to evolve over several days to weeks. Recovery from an attack takes weeks sometimes months. The disease does not worsen in the periods between the attacks. This pattern usually occurs early in the course of MS in most people. Primary progression: characterized by a gradual but steady progression of disability, without any obvious relapses and remissions. This form of disease occurs in just 15% of all people with MS, but it is the most common type of MS in people who develop the disease after the age of 40. Secondary Progression MS is initially begins with a relapsing-remitting course, but later evolves into progressive disease. The progressive part of the disease may begin shortly after the onset of MS, or it may occur years or decades later. Or Progressive-relapsing MS: This is the least common form of the disease and is characterized by a steady progression in disability with acute attacks that may or may not be followed by some recovery. People with progressive relapsing MS initially appear to have primary progressive MS.”
“Which one I got?” she asked
“That is why we need another MRI. Natalie, I do not want you to think this is the end. People have lived a normal life with medication and therapy.”
“Why now? This is not happening.” she said as she sat back in the chair
“Natalie, keep your spirit up. This might not be MS it could that you are just stressed.”
Natalie nodded her head.
“Do you have any questions for me?”
Natalie shrugged her shoulders.
“Here is my cell number and a number of a good counselor who deals with health issues. Do not hesitate to call.” he said as he looked at his watch, “I am sorry I have patients to see. Will you be alright?”
Natalie smiled, “Yes” she said as she got up to leave.
She left the office and went to her car. She called her sister but she did not pick up. She called Marcus but he did not pick up. She looked at her watch and it was 4:30. She went home to wait for her sister. Natalie got on the computer and looked up MS on WebMD. She read what they had to say and she did not feel better. She paced the floor and saw it was six. She got in her car and went to see Marcus.

Marcus sat at his computer again like every night since Ms. Cross came to the department. As usually she would order him into the office and demand that he fix the report. He would end the role play by having sex somewhere in the office. She made him feel so energized. He had her tied up with her legs spread out along the desk. He played with her volcano until she started to erupt. He tasted it going deeper into it not knowing that someone had opened the door.
Natalie saw him naked and between this woman legs with his face buried in her. She took her ring off and dropped it on the floor. She ran for the elevator. She started crying in the elevator as it hit the ground floor. She got in her car and could not move. Her world has been turned upside down. She drove to her house. Olivia was not there. She ran to her bathroom and became sick. She thought of all the times they made love and she thought of the last time and she got sick again. She felt so stupid.
Olivia got home to the sounds of her phone ringing off the hook.
“Hello”
“Olivia is Natalie there?” asked Marcus frantically
“I just got home.” she said walking to Natalie’s room and saw her sitting on the bed with tears in her eyes, “No she is not here, Marcus.”
“If you see her tell her I am looking for her.”
“I will.” she said hanging up the phone
Olivia went and put Teri in her bed. She came back to Natalie. She sat on the bed and hugged her. Natalie cried again. She lay on Olivia lap and cried.
“Do you want to talk about it?”
“He was given oral sex to another woman.” she said crying more
Olivia was in shock and caressed her head, “I am sorry.”
r /> “All that time he was working late to meet a deadline, he was screwing her.” she said sitting up, “I blew off a good man for that jerk, now I lost him forever, especially now.”
“What do you mean by that?”
Natalie told her what she found out today. Olivia hugged her.
“I am sorry I was not here. I sorry you found out about Marcus that way. We will get through this. All three of us we will be the female musketeers.” smiled Olivia, “I will be the cute one and you and Teri can fight over what is left.”
Natalie laughed then she started to cry again. Olivia stayed up with Natalie until she drifted off to sleep.
When she took Teri to day care she made a stop at a clothing store.
“Hi may I help you?” asked the man
“Sure. Does Julian De Leon own this store?”
“Yes he does, he is not here right now. May I take a message?” said the main
“Give him this and tell him to call me.” said Olivia as she walked out the store and went to work
Natalie called the shop and told Nancy that she won’t be in until later and if any one calls for her take a message. She lay in bed feeling drained and depressed. She showered and put on clothes. She sat on the sofa. The phone ranged. Natalie looked at the id and saw it was Olivia.
“Yes.”
“How about I take you out on the town? I can get the neighbor to baby sit. We will go have fun.” she said
“Fine.” said Natalie as she walked to her room for her shoes, “I will be at the salon if you need me.”
“Talk to you later.” said Olivia as she hung up the phone
Natalie walked out the door and stopped. Marcus stood there with flowers. Natalie locked the door and walked passed him.
“Natalie, wait a minute. I can explain.” he said turning her around to face him
“Explain? Explain what? How you just happened to be naked and given pleasure with your head in another woman’s vagina?” she yelled “How many other women have you pleased that way, huh?” she said throwing her purse in the car, “Did you screw women in Colorado?”
“Natalie, let’s talk about this in the house.” he asked
“You asshole! You will not deny that you were sleeping around the whole time.” she said getting in the car and slamming the door, “Leave me alone!” she said as she drove off
She pushed her Pilot to the limit as she almost missed her turn. She got to the salon parking lot and sat in the car. She calmed herself down before she went inside. She put on a smile. She spoke to the people standing outside her salon. She went inside and spoke to the employees and the clients. She stopped at the desk.
“Hi Nancy any messages for me?”
Nancy gave her a pile of messages. “Natalie you have a six appointment. They said it was an emergency and that they will pay anything.”
Natalie looked at her, “That is fine. I am going to return theses calls and be right back.” she said reading the messages
She opened her office and sat down. She threw all the messages from Marcus away and grabbed her smock. She plastered a smile on her face and opened the door. Natalie put her thoughts into her work. Her day went by quickly. She looked up and the clock said five forty-five. She finished her clients head and went to use the restroom. She was looking down as she tried to get hair off her smock. She looked up as all the women in the place was smiling and whispering. She looked up and saw why. Julian De Leon was standing there looking at her. She rolled her eyes and went to the receptionist desk.
“Who is my next appointment?” asked Natalie
Nancy pointed at him. Natalie could not do this not today. She looked at him.
“I am sorry sir but something has come up. I can not help you today. Maybe one of the other stylists could help you.” she said as she began to walk away
“Natalie, I do not want anyone else. I want you.” he said as his deep voice rocked her soul
Natalie turned to look at him, “Please do not do this. I do not have the strength or the time.” she said as tears fell, “Please just go.” she said as she turned around and ran to her office
The place was silent as every eye was on him. He walked to the back with his shoulders back and his eyes narrow. Natalie paced her small office hoping that he had left. The door opened as she jumped. He closed the door.
“Please do not send me away again. If I go this time I will not return.” he said
Natalie looked at him, “Fine, I do not need you or anybody. I will be fine by myself. Go and be with that woman. Just leave me the hell alone!” she yelled as she leaned on the desk, “Just leave me alone.” feeling defeated
She began crying. She did not know how to stop the hurt. She felt him standing in front of her. He put his hand on her face. He looked into her eyes. He saw the pain and anguish that was tearing her apart. He pulled her into his arms and she held him tight.
“Why?” she said into his chest
He held her because he did not have an answer for her. Someone knocked on the door. Natalie took a deep breath and stood back wiping her face. Natalie opened the door looking at Nancy.
“Are you okay?” asked Nancy
Natalie smiled, “Yeah, just had a breakdown. I will be out in a moment.”
Nancy looked into Natalie’s office at the man then at Natalie.
“It will be a minute.” she said as she closed the door
Natalie stood with her back to Leon, “Why are you here?” she asked as she turned around
He was right behind her. She almost fell but he held her. She stood up and moved to the other side.
Leon sighed, “I received a note saying you needed me.” he said showing her the note
Natalie took it and read it. She threw the note on the sofa. “I am going to kill her.” she said moving to her desk
“Who?” he asked
“My sister, Olivia.”
He sat on the corner of her desk touching her face. “You don’t need me, then?” he asked softly
She looked up at him. She walked to the door. She opened the door and Leon closed it. He turned her around to face him.
“Do you need me?” he asked
She looked at him and could feel her body began to shake. She tried to move but she hit the wall. Leon stood closer. His voice hit her when he whispered, as he came closer to her lips.
“Natalie, do you need me?”
She licked her lips, “Yes, I need you.”
His lips were on hers. Her hands wrapped around his neck as he held her. He pulled back and looked at her.
“I missed you.” he said as his mouth claimed hers again
She pushed at him, “I got a salon to run. People will wonder what we are doing in here.” she said as his mouth was on hers again, “Leon.”
“Okay. I will stop. Can I see you tonight?”
Natalie looked at her cell phone on the desk blinking, “I am going out with my sister.” she said then she looked at a message, “How convenient? She can’t make it tonight.”
“I will pick you up at eight.” he said touching her face
“Okay. Tonight at eight.” she said pushing him out the door
The women all looked at Natalie as she pushed him out. He turned around smiling at the Natalie. She pushed him out the front door and closed it. He knocked on the glass. Everyone looked. He kissed his hand and pressed against the glass. Natalie smiled as she walked back to her office. The women looked at Natalie then at the tall man leaving.
“Some customer gets special attention.” said Jessie as Natalie walked by
smiling
The salon was empty and Natalie was cleaning up when someone knocked on the door. She looked out and saw Marcus. She looked at him.
“I told you to leave me alone.”
“Natalie, please do not leave me. I love you.” he pleaded with her
“Marcus, leave me alone. It is over. You had your fun at my expense. Now leave before I call the cops.”
“Please Natal
ie.” he said hitting the door
Natalie let the shade fall and went back to cleaning. Natalie heard him get in his car and leave. She finished cleaning when someone knocked on the door again.
“Marcus, I said leave me alone.” she said lifting up the shade
“I am not Marcus.” said Leon
She let the shade drop and opened the door. “Sorry about that.” she said picking up her purse and her keys, “Where are we going?”
“A nice place that no one knows about, I think you might like it.” he said as he stood by the door
Natalie stood there ready to go as he stood in the way. She looked at him and smile.
“Are we going?”
“We have to take your car because I had an employee dropped me off.” he said.
Natalie threw him her car keys as he stood by the car door. Natalie locked the salon door. They got in her car. He drove them to his house.
“I thought you said we were going out.” she said looking at the home
“I said I was taking someplace no one knows about. You are the first to see my home.” he smiled as he got out the car
He opened her door as he walked her up to the front door. Natalie walked in. She looked at the nice home. It felt cozy and inviting. She walked into the living room that had an L-shaped sofa with a lounger on the other side. A flat screen TV and entertainment center faced the sofa.
“Let me show you the rest of my home.” he said walking with her into the dining room. It had a nice table that seats six and a nice china cabinet. Inside the cabinet was very nice china with silverware. He opened a swing door and walked her into the kitchen. The kitchen was all mahogany cabinets and black appliances. Ceramic tiles shined as the light from the moon hit it. There was a small table for three people by a bay window. He walked her through another swing door to a den. Here he had a leather sofa and reclining chair facing another flat screen TV entertainment center. He walked her through a door. She was in the hall way. He showed her a bathroom that had a tropical design. He showed her a bedroom that was modest with a bed and dresser and a Flat screen TV on the wall. He looked at her and opened the other door. This was his bedroom. He had a huge bed with a head board that was made out of mahogany wood, the whole set was mahogany and the rug was white and plush. He showed her the master bathroom and she feel in love with it. She looked around and like what she saw.
